2025 HUFS International Summer Session

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is organizing 2025 International Summer School. 

📌Program Details

·         Schedule: July 10 (Thu) – August 8 (Fri), 2025

·         Class Format: In-person, English-taught classes, Seoul Campus

·         Mon–Thu: Courses| Fri–Sat: Field trips

 

📌Who is this program for?

·         Students who want to take classes and build friendships with students from various countries.

·         Students who wish to earn up to 9 transferable credits, after confirming credit recognition with their home university.

·         Students who may face difficulties with course registration for the Spring 2025 semester and are looking for alternative courses that can be transferred.

·         Students interested in cultural experiences but unable to participate in such activities during the regular semester.

·         Students who want to engage with Korean students and gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture.

 

📌Tuition Fee Information

The tuition fees for the 2025 HUFS International Summer Session are as follows:

 

Please check with your home university to determine whether your nomination falls under the 25% or 50% tuition waiver category. Partner universities are likely beginning their nomination process, so we encourage you to carefully review any announcements and consult your university’s coordinators regarding the nomination procedures and requirements.

📌Payment

Flywire is an official payment solution provider. Students can now pay their tuition fees in their local currency, with options for both credit card payments and bank transfers.

Please note that the application fee will be charged at the time of application. Failure to complete this payment will result in the cancellation of your application.

Course Information

📌Field Trips

There are three field trips available, but participation is optional. If you are interested in exploring different parts of Korea and experiencing its culture firsthand, you are welcome to sign up.

·         Week 1: Seoul

·         Week 2: Yang-pyeong

·         Week 3: Yong-in

Please note that destinations may be subject to change depending on circumstances.

📌Scholarships

As stated on our website, scholarships are available only for individually applying students, not for exchange students. Please check the website for detailed eligibility criteria. The available scholarships are as follows:

·         Early Bird Applicants(~Mar.31st) – 150,000KRW  discount

·         Students from HUFS' Partner Universities – 150,000KRW  discount

·         Come to HUFS, Meet Again – 150,000KRW  discount

·         Outstanding Academic Record – 150,000KRW  discount

·         Korean/East Asian Studies Majors – 150,000KRW  discount
