The applications for T-IES Winter School, taking place from January 7 – February 4, 2025 at the University of Tübingen, are open. Students do not just learn about European societies – they experience Europe up close on two different Study Tracks:
T-IES Winter School January 7 – February 4, 2025 (4 weeks) Two Study Tracks: (A) "Europe, Diversity, and the Question of Identity" (B) "Representing the European Past in Cross-Cultural Communities" ECTS credits: 8 Program fee: 1,800 EUR (reduced program fee for partner universities; incl. courses, accommodation, study trips, social activities and more)
SUBJECT COURSES: Students can choose between two different Study Tracks. Each Track comprises three courses taught in English. Class sessions are highly interactive, intercultural and combine both traditional and innovative teaching styles, including field trips and field research.
GERMAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE: No German? No Problem! Students will attend a German language class (A1-A2) and gain one of the key qualifications in an increasingly globalized world: Intercultural competence.
BUDDY PROGRAM: A student of the University of Tübingen teams up with a participant and will support him/her during the entire stay in Tübingen. This will allow students to get to know German students, and experience student life first-hand.
